ABM manufactures SFERO brand of special adjusting locknuts and rings, characterised by their simplicity to assemble, dismount and reassemble without special tools and to retain a very high precision and reliability even if they were reassembled several hundred times. The company offers, in one piece, the advantages of nut and counter nut locking systems. This helps to save both time and costs. Very powerful locking forces, as compared to other lock nuts, are achieved by a clamping spring, which is a part of the thread. This prevents axial movement, and eliminates risk of thread damage. They are available up to M200 size, with unlocking torque exceeding 4000 Nm.
