V-block Clamp VCS

The V-block Clamp and Steady is a complete tool guidance and support system for precision tool manufacture. As the name suggests the unit consists of two distinct items – a V-block Clamp and a Steady – each with separate functionality. The V-block clamp uses an overhead clamp finger to hold the shank of the tool in a V-shaped support. This rigid support guides the shank of the tool using the V-block principle, reducing run-out usually present when using only a collet. The steady is the perfect complement to the V-block clamp offering additional support to the tool.
