Safe Locking Solution For Die Changes

The hydro-mechanical block clamp unit, Model PDV, guarantees a safe locking solution for die changes in formin presses. Using the proven Optima toggle mechanism, the unit's clamping force is generated by mechanical components, which are only under low hydraulic pressure during the clamping and release process. Furthermore, the clamping force is permanently monitored by the manufacturer's patented Aktivator. When using dies with high die thickness tolerances, a possible alternative is the new HBS clamp unit as it is suitabie for tolerances up to 1 mm.
