Quick Release Couplings, Diagnostic Series

Faster Hydraulics is a joint venture of Universal Flexibles and Faster SpA, Italy, a company with over 50 years experience and thirty different product lines available in over 3,000 versions. This Italian company has designed, manufactured and sold over 50 million quick-release couplings (QRCs) worldwide for applications at medium, high and very high pressures for building and construction, agriculture, air conditioning and refrigeration and various industrial applications. These high performance couplings are cost effective and innovative technological solutions for problems and criticalities typical of hydraulics industry. The challenges faced vary from the presence of dust and dirt particles in surroundings, pressure impulses at high frequency, possibility to connect under high residual pressure, environmental concern on oil spillage, etc. These quick-release couplings are worldwide interchangeable according to ISO 16028 standards. Diagnostic Series quick-release couplings have been purposely designed to make the maintenance of hydraulic systems and pressure check within the circuit easier, quicker and more effective. Other types include: Multifaster Series ? ensure dramatic time reduction when connecting the lines without any fluid spillage and air inclusion, especially when simultaneous connection of several hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical lines is to be made; and Agriculture Series ? specific models have been studied to satisfy the ever growing requirements by worldwide OEM customers. Agricultural couplings are subject to severe test activities both in laboratory and on the field.
