Quick-Release Couplings

Quick-release couplings PVVM series have been suitably designed and produced by Faster in order to be used at very high pressures and to provide the user a high safety level. PVVM coupling high performances are provided by its screw-on connection system, its strengthened internal components and by the particular form of its valves always allowing its complete opening. Moreover, instead of using the standard ball valve, used by the main competitors in the field, Faster has provided these products with a special poppet valve ensuring a great increase in the flow area and a wider resistant section. For that reason the burst pressure is significantly higher compared to that of the other corresponding products on the market. PVVM couplings can be connected and disconnected under working pressure, and are available in carbon steel and stainless steel and in two sizes: 1/4” and 3/8”. These couplings are interchangeable with most of the corresponding couplings present in USA, European and worldwide markets. Brief specifications: safety factor – 1:3 also when the coupling is disconnected; max working pressure – 100 MPa (version 3/8”); and rated flow (0.2 MPa) – 20 ls/min (version 3/8”). Applications: PVVM series has been created for heavy-duty service where it is necessary to have a very high resistance to static pressures. It is typically used on cylinders, lift installations and hydraulic jacks.
