Pipe sleeve couplings

Thane-based Peelecon Linkers offers Leela range of flexible compression pipe sleeve couplings. These eliminate threading, flaring, welding, brazing, and soldering of the pipes to be joined and are meant for plain end pipes, requiring no end preparation of pipes to be joined. Other advantages include: absorbs axial expansion, contraction and subsoil settlement; allows deflection up to 6?, hence joining of misaligned pipes is simplified; permits off-set of pipe ends/absorbs vibration; ensures adequate flexibility of pipe work to cater for movement at sea; pipe wall is not weakened by thread, so a thin wall can be used; low cost, time saving installation can be performed by unskilled workers; needs only wrench and soapy water, no welding equipment is required; installation in all weather conditions; no exact cutting of pipe length required; short pipe pieces can be used; simplifies cleaning and repair as disassembly is easy at any point; and rotation of pipe is easy, when abrasive line content wears bottom side of pipe. Couplings are available in MS, CI, MI, SS material of construction, and available in size range of 15-1000 mm.
