Non-metallic expansion joints/fabric compensators

The SRM designed SR-Flex compensators are being manufactured to provide stress-relief in the ducting systems by absorbing movements caused by thermal changes. They also act as vibration isolator and in some instance, to make up the minor misalignment of adjoining ducting or equipment. The non-metallic parts are fabricated from variety of materials, including synthetic elastomer fabrics, insulation padding materials, PTFE sheet fibreglass and high silica fabrics and plastic compounds depending on the application conditions, nature of media and other parameters. The company designs non-metallic expansion joints (fabric expansion joints) as per customer"s requirement at its computer aided design facility based on customer"s technical data sheet/design parameters. It can provide proper calculation (not imaginary figures) for both axial and lateral movements, caused by thermal changes, based on the layout drawing provided by the customer. These expansion joints provide an inexpensive and efficient solution in a wide range of application. The standard configuration of fabrics depends mainly on the application, temperature, pressure movement and flow media. The company"s erection team, with expertise in the line and trained manpower, has already executed some jobs successfully. It is well equipped with machineries, tools and tackles and safety devices.
