New Zero-Max ServoClass Couplings Brochure

Zero-Max has released a new ServoClass® Couplings Brochure. With today’s servo motor applications more demanding than ever, this new brochure from Zero-Max featuring its ServoClass couplings makes specifying the right coupling easier. ServoClass couplings are high performance couplings designed to meet the precision positioning requirements and high reverse-load characteristics of today’s servomotor applications. This new brochure shows how the coupling’s low inertia design enhances motor performance, making higher system acceleration possible using less energy. Oscillation phenomena of servomotors is an important consideration in the selection process of couplings. The new ServoClass coupling brochure explains this phenomena and shows how to evaluate resonant frequency of a feed-screw system. A simple and helpful illustration and mathematical equation shows how the correct coupling can be selected to eliminate oscillation problems. Manufactured of RoHS compliant materials, all ServoClass couplings are lightweight and are designed with 304 stainless steel disc packs and 7075-T6 aluminum hubs and center members. All models and sizes feature clamp style hubs with corrosion resistant socket head cap screws. ServoClass couplings are ideal for virtually any system using ball screws and servomotors.
