Fresmak Arnold Precision Engineering Pvt Ltd offers a Hydraulic Vice. The force applied by the high pressure spindle is transmitted to the work-piece in the exact centre of the clamping jaw. Product highlights include: 0.01 mm clamping repeatability; monoblock design; large opening; high pressure hydraulic intensifier; and optional power regulator. The clamping force is 2.4/5/8 tonnes depending on the size. Operating features: the hydraulic spindle unit is activated by means of a crank, which is fitted in the hexagonal housing arranged in part. When the crank is turned, threaded spindle runs through the spindle shoe pushing the movable jaw until the jaws meet the workpiece to be clamped. When the threaded spindle encounters a determined resistance it stops acting, but by keeping on with the cranking procedure it makes the coupling disc detach from the coupling body and thus the torque rod, which is firmly attached by part to spindle sleeve advances and consequently introduces the small piston in the oil chamber A in order to create an overpressure. The pressure produced by the oil pushes the large piston, which at the meantime pushes pushrod. The pushrod through pressure plate and movable jaw transmits the power developed by the hydraulic differential mechanism to the clamping jaw. This maximum pressure moment is produced once spindle sleeve has run over the threaded cylinder and stopped against cylinder. The moment this point is reached, it is useless trying to increase the hydraulic pressure by hammering on the crank or by trying any other procedure. Fresmak Arnold was founded over 40 years ago in Spain. The company started as a high pressure vice manufacturer and has matured into an enterprise with a wide range of products and a sales market of over 50 countries.
