Flexible Couplings

Poona Couplings offers Flexible Couplings. This is a general purpose, cost effective product, which is manufactured in SG iron for torques up to 41 kNm. The standard range comprises: shaft to shaft, shaft to shaft with increased shaft engagement, flywheel to shaft and flywheel to shaft with increased shaft engagement couplings. Applications: generator sets; pump sets; compressors; wind turbines; metal manufacture; bulk handling; pulp and paper industry; and general purpose industrial applications. Construction details: spheroidal graphite to BS 2789 Grade 420/ 12; separate rubber elements with a choice of grade and hardness with SM70 shore hardness being the standard; and rubber elements which are totally enclosed and loaded in compression.
