Fast-Action Clamping System

Amacoil Inc introduces Uhling-easylock fast-action clamping system. It offers short roll changeover for supply rolls and spools. The system"s modular design allows for single handed adaptation without the use of tools, and the compact, maintenance-free system features high tensioning forces on a plain round shaft. The system can be used for either direction of shaft rotation, and is targeted for use with driven pay-off shafts. The system is fitted with a clamping ring which is offset to the shaft with which it engages in response to axial or tensioning forces, thereby creating an increasing friction contact.
