Expansion Joints

Garlock expansion joints are individually constructed of the company’s own elastomeric materials, and can accommodate pipe diameters up to 12 feet (3.66 m). Garlock caters to the chemical, power, pulp and paper, waste water, marine, and semi-conductor industries, the only manufacturer certified to supply safety-related expansion joints to the nuclear industry. The range: concentric and eccentric spool-type expansion joints; multiple arch designs to compensate for excessive pipe movement; EZ-FloTM flowing arch design for slurry services; FEP-lined Guardian® expansion joints for chemical resistance; special offset designs for misaligned pipes; flexible couplings of corrosion-resistant PTFE; U-type expansion joints for vacuum service; and rubber pipe connectors for heating and air conditioning systems. All Garlock expansion joint styles have been rigorously lab and field-tested, and engineered to ensure long life and reliable service.
