Curved Teeth Geared Coupling

Tuffplast Pune Pvt Ltd has developed Curved Teeth Geared Coupling in engineering plastics material. The coupling consists of coupling sleeve and two curved teeth gears. Curved teeth gear have metal insert to facilitate the required size of bore. It absorbs up to 1 degree angular misalignment between the shafts and redial misalignment is 0.3 mm. The curved teeth geared couplings at present are available in 3 sizes [equivalent to M14, M19 and M28 of Bowex], in maximum transmission capacity 1 HP at 3000 RPM.
