Crocodile Clamp

Ahire Machine Tools offers a Crocodile Clamp manufactured by Andreas Maier Fellback (AMF), Germany. This features an adjustable clamping shoe for larger forces and flexible operations. It is ideal for use on injection moulding machines, presses and cutting machine tools, which are clamped via T-slots or threaded holes. It has a compression piece and a counter holder, both adjustable in 5 ways and which can be detached from clamping iron. This has now replaced the requirement of the usual diagonal attachment, which loses valuable holding force. It does not require to be completely dismantled during mould and tool changes. This arrangement is most suited for all applications where horizontal clamping is a requirement. The crocodile clamping element has two different shaped clamping surfaces, and can be easily turned around, for better flexibility. Hence, even tall moulds can be effectively clamped.
