Utkur Iron and Steel Industries manufactures Couplings, USS type. It is manufactured as per International Standards. It is made from CI/ Aluminium/ Steel and Elastomers in plain/ reinforced synthetic rubbers, are reliable safeguard against vibrations being transferred from machine to the prime mover. It is simple to align, electrically insulated and need no lubrication. Features: specially designed for "back pull out pumps"; without disturbing the pump alignment and piping, etc, maintenance is possible; can also be used where disconnection of drive and driven unit is required like compressors, generators, blowers, etc; range up to 100 HP/24 kg metre torque-rating; standard supply Spider type elastomer; can also be supplied with snap-wrap type elastomer; and Spiders of polyurethane available on request for higher torque and durability.
