Couplings

Zero-Max offers Couplings. These couplings are designed with 304 stainless steel disc packs and 7075-T6 aluminium hubs and centre members. All models and sizes feature clamp style hubs with corrosion resistant socket head cap screws. This unique design provides high torsional stiffness to avoid system resonance in servo systems. Standard off-the-shelf couplings will perform at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. These are available in 8 sizes with torque ratings up to 530 in. lb. (60 Nm). System designers can select from combinations of both inch and metric bores that are available off-the-shelf. Zero-Max couplings have an elegant, yet robust design that performs reliably in 24/7 servomotor applications. The wind up in beam couplings and the fragile nature of bellows couplings can become serious problems. For these reasons, Zero-Max ServoClass couplings are ideal for a wide range of medical, lab automation and medical equipment manufacturing applications utilizing servomotors.
