Coupling

Shakti Drive Engineers offers a range of couplings ? tyre couplings, pin bush couplings, and gear couplings ? in a variety of designs and models from standard, off-the-shelf stock to new, high speed, special designs. The original continuous sleeve, or ?C? coupling, offers a lightweight, compact, and simple design without compromising torque carrying capacity. The flanged sleeve, or ?F? coupling, is available in exposed or shrouded bolt styles in which the number of bolts, size of bolts, and bolt circle are identical with industry standards. The nylon sleeve gear couplings are compact, lightweight couplings that use a nylon sleeve and two sintered iron hubs. Lubrication is not required with the nylon sleeve. The company also offers tyre couplings in three series: F- Series, TC-Series and FH-Series. These tyre couplings consist of bolted parallel hubs and flanges coupled together with the help of a specially designed slitted tyre made of natural rubber compounds reinforced with nylon polyester cord for long durability. These couplings are multi-directional couplings and are used to neutralise parallel, axial and angular misalignment and end floats to absorb vibrations and cushion shock resulting in reduced stress on the shafts and its connected parts for minimizing down time. Also available are pin bush flexible couplings (B-1 to B-11) from 95 mm to 530 mm diameter. These are suitable for torque from 8.0 to 242 kgM. These couplings are cushioned drive type, transmitting torque through rubber bushes, which are having excellent capacity to absorb shock. These types of couplings permit drive in either direction, and require neither lubrication nor adjustment after fitting.
