Clamps and Braking Elements for Linear Guides

Amcats offers Clamps and Braking Elements.
Zimmer clamps and braking elements offer a new and innovative approach for stopping, holding and positioning applications using linear guide rail systems. These clamps have been designed in the shape of rail blocks so that they move along with the blocks and on appropriate actuation to stop the block and hold it in position. Normally, the clamp can be mounted between two blocks on the rail to provide a means for solidly locking the load to the rail. Actuation can be electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or manual.
The abrasion free connection between the clamping element and the linear guides is created at the free surfaces of the guide rail. So, there is no damage to the rail at the clamping points.
These clamps provide fixing and positioning solutions for a wide array of applications ranging from clamping in Heavy Cutting Work Centre using Hydraulic clamps to positioning in optical instruments and measuring tables using manual clamps.
