Bellow Coupling, Flexible

Ranflex India offers flexible bellow couplings, specially designed to compensate axial, angular and lateral displacement in any precision mechanical system. These couplings with zero backlash are designed for very high precision, servo or position drives. They can also be used for transmitting high torque. Presently these are manufactured in SS 304 grade with end connections in aluminium alloy. Unique characteristics of these couplings are zero backlash, zero cycle speed variation during 360? rotation, low elastic wind up, low side thrust on bearing, low moment of inertia, less mass of couplings and the ability to withstand high temperature up to 450?C. Due to the low moment of interia, mass, very high resolutions are possible without balancing. The couplings have no wearing parts and are maintenance free. Two series are available with distinct characteristics: RFG Series - designed for grub-screw fixing directly on to the shaft thus transmitting the rotation without slip; and RFR Series - with a radially actuated single screw clamping hub. Tightening of one screw per hub will guarantee positive transmission of the rated torque without slip.
