SE Electricals Ltd, Generator Division, has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities up to 3 MW in collaboration with ELIN Motoren Gmbh, Austria for Wind Turbine Generators. Current product range covers up to 2.1 MW, 50 Hz / 60 Hz, singly fed and doubly fed induction generators. Product range: slip range induction generators – 2.1 MW, 50 Hz 690 V, 1511 rpm, asynchronous generator; 2.1 MW, 60 Hz 600 V, 1812 rpm, asynchronous generator; 1.5 MW, 50 Hz 690 V, 1511 rpm, asynchronous generator; 2.1 MW, 50 Hz, 690 V, 1600 rpm, doubly fed induction generator; 2.1 MW, 60 Hz, 600 V, 1870 rpm, doubly fed induction generator; squirrel cage induction generators – 1250/300 kW, 50 Hz, 690 V, 1506/1006 rpm, dual speed, asynchronous generator; and 600 kW, 50 Hz, 690 V, 1540 rpm, asynchronous generator. The company is a manufacturer of control panels, generators and transformers, with most of the products are used in wind-energy industry. It has demonstrated the ability to meet the critical requirements of wind energy industry, which is known for its critical application due to high costs associated with breakdowns in MW machines and repairs that need to be carried out up the 80+ metres tower.
