Self Regulating Brushless Type Generators

New-Delhi based AVK-SEG Controls (I) manufactures DSG series of alternators. These are state-of-the-art, self-excited, self-regulated brushless machines, DSG 29 to 74, 15-2000 kVA, 415 V, 50 Hz. Brush less excitation is for the entire range from 30 kVA onwards. Class "H" insulation for better life and performance under normal and overload conditions. 2/3rd pole pitch is for winding. For resistance against moisture and longevity these include epoxy Gel coating on winding after VPI; powder coated fan; powder coated Terminal Box; Epoxy Primered Cowling; Epoxy Primer on complete Alternator; and permanently lubricated sealed bearings up to 250 kVA against the conventional bearings that require repeated lubrication. High short-circuit current withstand capability of 3-4 times the normal current sustained for 3 secs. Harmonic distortion less than 3 percent against the conventional 5 percent; low harmonics even under non-linear load conditions; automatic voltage regulation of +1 percent; IP23 degree of protection as standard; very fast static and dynamic response with recovery time around 0.3 secs are provided.
