Cooper Corporation, an engine major has launched 3-cylinder, 62.5 kVA and 82.5 kVA Generators under the brand name “Cooper Eco Pack”. This cost efficient and silent unit is billed as India’s best power packed genset that is not only eco-friendly with low fuel consumption but is also lighter in weight, smaller in size and meets with US and European Emission norms. Built in collaboration with Ricardo, an international design engineering company, this genset range is powered by Cooper three cylinder engines with 4 valves per cylinder, with centrally placed injector with a peak firing pressure up to 210 bar .The engines come equipped with built-in lube oil cooler, hydraulic tappets with roller follower and cylinder head cast in compacted graphite iron (CGI). The Cooper Eco Pack series is India’s first Euro IV, US EPA Tier IV Interim and CPCB 2 compliant set of generators, an automatic choice for environment-conscious power consumers. With a 7-tank pre-treatment and durable powder coating the Eco Pack series functions with a commando like efficiency – stealthy, powerful and yet the noise measured is well within 75 dbA at 1 mtr distance under free field condition.
