Supernova Technologies offers the world’s first hand operated SNU (Swa Nirbhar Urja) Kit to help people in cooking food without smoke with very few pieces of wood, which will protect their eyes and lungs and reduce the consumption of fire wood by 60%. This is being done through wood gasifier stove (Chula), which needs a small electric power delivered by a hand operated power generator. This power generator is operated by pulling and loosening of a string attached to the generator, which will store energy in the battery, which is in turn utilised for lighting the hut, playing radio, or powering the wood stove, which makes the user self sufficient. The kit has a hand operated power generator with built-in chargeable battery, LED lantern, radio and wood stove. The lantern is LED based with lowest power consumption and highest operating period of 9 hrs, and has option of charging through SMPS charger and solar charging within shortest period.
