Solar Water Heating System

M Laxman and Company offers a Solar Water Heating System. This system comprises of: flat plate collector which collects solar energy; an insulated storage tank to store the hot water and maintain the temperature; insulated pipes to carry the hot water; and uninsulated pipes to carry cold water. The solar radiation is absorbed by the flat plate collector by which the circulating water through the pipe gets heated. The hot water is then stored in the insulated hot water tank. This cycle goes on during the daytime. At the end of the day the tank full of hot water is ready for use. Basic requirement: shadow free space for installation of solar collectors, soft and clean water in sufficient quality, and the cold water source should be above the solar storage tank (for themosyphon system). Solar collectors are required to be installed facing south direction only.
