Maharaja Techno Chromes Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, manufactures high efficiency "Nalsun" black chrome coated Solar Collector Copper Fins and Tubes duly ultrasonic welded, which are used in flat plate solar water heater collector. These fins are the lifeline of solar water heaters. The company has acquired black chrome coating technology from NAL (National Aerospace Laboratories), Government of India. These fins provide absorbtance (alpha) more than 0.96 and emittance (epsilon) less than 0.12, which is much better than BIS specification. The company is supplying prime quality fins and tubes to all, major and medium solar water heater manufacturers all over India, since many years. After establishing the business in batch coated solar collector fins it has installed two separate continuous coil coating plants to a coat "Nalsun" coating on copper and aluminium coils continuously, thus becoming the first and only company in the world to do black chrome coating on aluminium coils continuously and successfully. It also coats "Nalsun-4" black chrome coating on stainless steel tube for linear fresnel solar thermal concentrating system, a new technology to generate the power thermally. Coating on SS tubes can withstand up to 400°C temperature, which generates steam to produce non-conventional power. Established in 2001, the company’s R&D is effortlessly experimenting with nano technology, adopting improved manufacturing process, value added engineering skills to provide innovative and cost effective, solar products using available eco-friendly resources in the field of solar energy.
