Adhiev-NanoPV Pvt Ltd has developed building integrated Photovoltaic Systems with materials, which are used for the replacement of conventional construction materials from different parts of the buildings exterior such as roofs, skylights, windows or facades. These building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems can turn the roof, the windows or the curtain wall of a building into a complete, multifunctional, high-performing solar-energy power plant. The company counts on the most extensive and innovative approach to design and implement BIPV applications. Adhiev-NanoPV was formed by two companies, which are ideologically committed to replace fossil fuel based energy in India. NanoPV Inc., USA was incorporated in 2005 with nearly 20 years of experience in solar cell technologies, panel manufacturing and system integration. NanoPV has licensed its patented manufacturing technology to different partners across Asia and Europe. Today, the company is a leader in high-energy delivery, low cost rooftop systems in India. It has installed a pilot project of 1 MW in India, which is currently producing about 1.7 million units, at least 20% more than most installations in India.
