Lighting Energy Saver

Edge Technologies offers a Lighting Energy Saver. This product is basically a series reactance coil, which when installed on discharge lighting feeders, results in substantial energy saving. While there is normal impact on light output, the savings are quite attractive. Available range: basically there are two versions available “Intelligent” and “Manual”. The Intelligent version has very useful features like automatic timers with up to 8 different user programs, monitoring of load parameters like voltage, current, kW, kVA etc., and automatic switch between bypass mode and saving/super saving modes depending on the input supply condition of voltage. In addition, an estimation of units saved is also a standard feature. All models can be offered for single/three phase operation range: 2 kVA, 3 kVA, 4.5 kVA and 6 kVA (above capacities on request). Salient features: prevents over voltage to lighting and other equipments there by preventing over current; prevents fusing of lamps, which results in lamp-life extension; and protects wiring and lighting devices from short circuit that results in protection from fire hazard.
