DISA offers solutions employing various moulding configurations – vertical moulding, horizontal moulding and matchplate moulding technology. Horizontal Moulding Systems: the Disa Flex 70 horizontal flask moulding machine is characterised by a double-air blow and hydraulic squeeze mould compaction system. Combining the advantage of the air-blow and hydraulic squeeze gives good compaction close to the pattern surface as well as high compaction on the back side of the mould. The squeeze is performed with a rubber flex pad to secure even squeeze forces over the entire mould surface, also with high patterns. This provides the foundry man an excellent moulding process and minimum maintenance costs.
