Shoma Enterprises offers Die Sets and Mould Housings. The Shoma die sets are designed to suit customer requirements for mass production as per tool standards. The die sets are stress relieved and machined on precision machines. The holes are jig bored to H7 tolerances. Technical details: top and bottom plates are made up to ST-42 structural steel. Pillar and bushes are made out of bearing steel material up to medium sizes for bigger SAE 8620 material is used. HRC maintained is 60-62. Ball cages are made out of brass with grade 24 precision balls. Material for top and bottom plates for CI die sets is grey cast iron (EG.260). Parallelism between top and bottom bolster is 0.015/100 sq.mm maintained in assembly. These die sets are made with ball cages as a standard practice. If a customer requires the die sets without ball cage, they can also be supplied. Any special die sets other than standard listed die sets can be supplied. Removable type of pillar and bushes, elements like punch plate, stripped plate, die plates with jig bored dowel holes and screw holes, can also be supplied. Class I: die sets are manufactured to suit high precision quality. Clearance between punch and die is not more than 0.018 mm/side. These die-sets are suitable for carbide, progressive, lamination, etc., used in watch making electronic industries in high speed presses. Class II: clearance between punch and die is more than 0.02 mm/side, these die-sets can be used in general with press component thickness more than 0.4 mm.
