Weathering Tester

Q-Panel Lab Products of USA introduces the QUV/spray. This new model of QUV Accelerated Weathering Tester features: Solar Eye irradiance control, microprocessor controls, and automatic fault finding. It is also equipped with a spray system in addition to the QLTV's usual condensation system. With the QUV/spray water spray can be combined with condensation to enhance correlation with outdoor results. Water spray simulates rain to help predict the durability of materials subjected to thermal shock. Recent research concluded that the mechanical scrubbing action of rain is essential to simulate the characteristic erosion of natural weather. The QUV/spray can be set to produce short spray cycles for thermal shock or long periods of spray to achieve mechanical erosion. QUV/spray can be operated in any of the following cycles: UV alone; spray alone; or condensation. The QUV/spray may also be operated as a typical QUV tester with UV and condensation only, without spray.
