Dantech Engineers offers Wear debris monitor, MIDAS manufactured by Manor Monitoring Technologies Ltd, UK. It uses the patented inductive debris analysis technology to quantify the wear debris in both grease and oil lubrication sample to monitor the machine wear. Getting the sample tested at lab is expensive therefore not all the machines can be brought in the wear analysis programme. Moreover, more than 80 % of the samples sent to the lab are reported normal. This debris monitoring tool helps screening the sample at site to decide which samples should be tested at the lab for wear debris analysis. It reduces the cost and helps the customer to bring all the lubricated machines in the monitoring programme. Patrol is the online monitoring system for continuously monitoring the wear debris in any closed loop lubricated machine.
