Valve testers

Dott. Ing. Scandura & C. S.p.A. offers valve testers (model 7200) suitable for testing safety valves with flanged ends in the range ? to 6 inch and threaded ? to 2 inch (using adapters). Model 7200 provides the optimum solution for safety valve testing. The testing will ascertain any of the following: 1) compliance with the User's Quality Assurance Manual according to ISO9000; 2) safety valve certification according to manufacturer's product specifications and 3) pressure release set point according to process safety requirements. The test media is compressed air from air booster system and extended gas bottle. The maximum test air pressure is 220 bar. The bench consists of two major sets: Test Control Console and Valve Test assembly. The Test Control Console is a solid metal structure (2 mm steel) finished and painted in RAL 5012. Control and indicating apparatus are mounted on aluminium mimic panel. Two standard analog or digital (option) manometers with peak detector are provided (100 and 400 bar range) featuring 0.1 per cent accuracy. Manometers are properly protected by manual switch-off valves. Manual pressure regulator (3 to 220 bar) and air distribution selectors are also provided along with mains ON/OFF switch and general power OFF emergency switch. The Valve Test assembly consists a heavy steel structure provided with a test plate section and utility section. Along each semi-diagonal of the test planes operates the valve clamping devices that can be either manual (slide each of the four clamping devices and tighten by wrench) or automatic by motorised assembly.
