Model DTM-2 Series ultrasonic thickness gauges have become an industry standard with over 1,500 units in use in India and abroad. MSL Series ultrasonic flaw detectors are preferred by Level III experts, and are approved by renowned organisations like railways, PDIL, NTPC, BHEL, Lloyds, etc. Galileo-100, a forerunner of the Galileo Series of ultrasonic flaw detectors, is a microprocessor based ultrasonic flaw detector which is most suited for field use due to its compact size and less than 5 kg weight (with battery). It can store and recall 20 calibration settings which is a unique feature. Ultrasonic testing equipment are extensively used for "non-destructive testing"(NDT) of material. The material testing and evaluation includes "wall thickness measurements"to check "dimensional accuracy"and to monitor "remaining wall thickness"in process plant equipment, also to detect internal defects to ascertain integrity of material and structure.
