Institute of Testing and Certification India Pvt Ltd (ITC India Pvt Ltd) is a laboratory, which is compliant with ISO 17025 and is accredited by NABL and IABCBL, UK. The laboratory undertakes Testing against international standards for Electronic and Electrical Products including solar products. It conducts Testing of Lighting and Entertainment Equipment, viz., fixed general purpose luminaries, luminaries for road and street lighting, aquarium luminaries, lighting chains, emergency lighting, and general safety testing for luminaries. Safety testing at design stage, though uncommon in India, is slowly getting popular as cost of rejection at client end is getting prohibitive. The company offers testing at design stage, pre-shipment inspection, portable appliance testing, electrical safety audits, installation validation for solar plants against EN/IEC 62446, and forensic engineering as extended range of services.
