System composition: computer controlled unit (Pentium III 866 MHz), PC panel with integrated 15” LCD touch-screen monitor, and industrial IP65 keyboard, LAN 10/100Mbit/s interface, and professional semi-automatic mechanics with adapter for testing with interchangeable conical counterpoints. The standard version is for rotors with: external diameter from 25 mm to 110 mm, maximum height 150 mm (with or without shaft), diameter of internal hole minimum 4 mm. The tester comes with new highly sensitive adjustable pick-up (O4BPR-06) operating on 3 axis, graduated setting ring for detecting the faulty area on the rotor, operating panel with two hand start, test result signal lamps and blinking emergency lights. Performance: tests on die-cast rotors during production, laboratory, measurement, quality control (incoming inspection), fast and reliable testing of rotor parameters, quick changing of type of rotor to be tested, automatic or manual testing mode, display and storage of characteristics curve, printout of test report with personal logo and letter heading, graphic software with virtual instruments, multi-language software (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese), Windows 2000 or Windows XP Pro operating system, complete automatic test cycle time: 2.5 seconds, statistical software for analysing production process. Standard characteristics: system for testing small and medium size die-cast rotors able to detect various types of faults, such as: interrupted bars, blowings or porosities in the aluminium alloy, wrong inclination angle of bars, quality of the aluminium allow, welding of bars to iron. Optionals: 42 column printer for test results, safety lamps for signalling the operating condition of the system, special pick-up for motors with external rotors.
