Sarbi Engg & Whg are suppliers of various import substitute test equipment, metallic strips/specimens as per ASTM/IP/JIS/IS specifications for petroleum and allied industries. The company has developed and manufactured equipment for engine coolant testing. Salient features of this equipment are: i) Corrosion test for coolants in glassware as per ASTM D 1384 - the corrosion inhibitive properties of the coolant solution in glassware are evaluated on the basis of the weight changes incurred by the specimens; ii) Testing apparatus of circulating corrosion property as per JIS K 2234 - this method evaluates corrosion properties of various metal test pieces with circulating solution (coolant); and iii) Testing apparatus for corrosion of cast aluminium alloys in engine coolants as per ASTM D 4340 and JIS K 2234 - this test is used to determine effectiveness of engine coolants in combating corrosion of aluminium casting alloys under heat-transfer conditions that are present in aluminium cylinder head engines. These products are sturdy, compact, sophisticated and fitted with control panels to monitor the required parameters. These equipment are already supplied to prominent lubricant manufacturers.
