Tensile/Compression Tester – Portable/Table Top

Sunrise Industries offers Portable/Table Top Tensile/Compression Tester up to 50 kg that gives elongation with a least count of 0.01 mm. The tester consists of a digital force gauge attached to a double column screw mechanism with a hand-operated flywheel to rotate the screw for tensile/compression test. The load is sensed by the load cell of the force gauge and is indicated on the display in terms of gm/lb., with a resolution of 1 gm. The deflection/elongation is measured simultaneously on digital vernier caliper attached to the moving block of screw mechanism, with a readable accuracy of 0.01 mm up to 300 mm. The main advantage of Sunrise tensile tester is that the force gauge is easily detachable from the base simply by removing 2 bolts. Hence the force gauge can be used individually for tensile/compression tests where elongation is not required to be measured. It operates on 9 V battery/with an adaptor on 230 V mains. It has wide applications in rubber, textile, steel wire manufacturing, etc., with suitable clamps tailor made for each individual application.
