SPRING TESTING SYSTEMS

SS Instruments offers Spring Testing Systems. It consists of a loading frame for mounting the spring under test. The standard feature is a manual loading arrangement to load the spring to the required load. A rapid head movement arrangement is provided to set the frame for testing. The digital indicator measures both load and deflection and represents the values on separate LED digital display. The system operates from single phase, 230 V AC. Different DC supplies required to operate the instrument are generated inside the indicator. Optional facility: peak-hold - RS 232C; and 4-20 mA O/ P - audio and visual set limit indication. Specifications of loading frame: capacity - 20, 50, 100, 300 and 500 kg; load - compression and tension; drive - worm and work wheel or rack and pinion; type - manual/ auto; safe overload - 100%; and working height - 100, 150, 200, 300 and 900 mm.
