Special purpose gauging machines

TMC Measuring Instruments, located in Mumbai, offers special purpose gauging machines (CFM 3010/3020) that can be used for single, mass-production gauging and for special measurements. This machine is available in single headed and double-headed versions, which reduce the inspection time considerably. CFM3010/3020 can measure almost all the radial parameters such as roundness, diameter cylindricity, linear profile, angular positions at cranks/cams and many more. Machines for special measurements such as wear evaluations, chattermark evaluations, and cam profile are also available. The sturdy mechanics includes highly wear resistant carbide followers. All these are supported by software, which allows fast display of results, on line display of machine status and interactive menu guided operation. Depending on the gauging requirements about 6 to 20 components can be measured in an hour. Various other types of gauging machines that are available are Crankshaft multi-gauging machine, semi-automatic valve gauging machine, and measuring and sorting machines for small shafts, valve seat rings, connecting rods, and bearing shells. Also measuring machines for wheel rims/pistons are offered.
