Pulse Oximeter With ECG Display

Larsen & Toubro Ltd offers, for the first time in India, a pulse oximeter with ECG display. Called Stellar, it is manufactured by Nellcor Inc, California, USA, and incorporates world renowned pulse oximetry technology with backlit plethysmographic display and ECG waveform on an LCD screen. Stellar caters to a wide variety of application needs ranging from visiting anaesthetists' private practice in nursing homes, ambulatory monitoring, operation theatres, recovery rooms to ICUs and neonatal ICUs. It provides 12 and 24 hour trend displays and printer output, for round-the-clock monitoring and on-demand recording of a patient's condition. Stellar is particularly suited for cardiac care units because it offers rate-related arrhythmia detection facility. Stellar is lightweight, sleek in design, and is supplied in a carrying case. Designed in accordance with International Safety & Performance Standards, IEC 601.1, this pulse oximeter is far more economical than a combination of a separate ECG monitor and pulse oximeter of comparable features and quality.
