Pouch Testing Equipment

Amis Engineers has developed a Pouch Testing Equipment where various pouches, i.e., Flexible Packages very commonly used today for most of the consumer items like chocolates, chips, biscuits, snacks, edible oils, detergent powders as well as petroleum products like motor oils and additives, etc., are tested with this equipment. The basic equipment is pneumatically operated with removable stainless steel plates under which a pouch is loaded. These stainless steel plates can be removed and cleaned from time to time. The load on the pouches is gradually increased by increasing the air pressure. The pressure in kg/cm2 is calibrated to load in kg (in a chart supplied with equipment). This press can be used for burst testing as well as for routine testing/inspection of pouches up to certain load as specified in the design of the pouch. This testing equipment can also be supplied in higher end versions with load cells giving exact force in kg being applied on the pouches. This testing equipment has been exported to Australia, Malaysia and other countries. The company has the capability to design and supply special purpose equipment for similar applications.
