Non-Contact Torque Measuring
The Technical College of Mannheim introduces a non-contact torque measuring method for three-phase motors. The calculation of the torque is based on an evaluation of the current and voltage in the supply lead of the motor. An analogue prototype was developed first. For stationary operation points, a software program was written which allows a PC to calculate torques with the measured quantities of the precision power meter LMG 310.
