Multi-Parameter Shop-Floor Geometry Gauge

The Formscan 6100 circular geometry gauge features spindle accuracy of ?1 microinch (?0.02 micrometer), and is said to be the first geometry gauge to offer an artificial intelligence program to help operators make the right decisions about complex form measurements. The gauge runs in the Microsoft Windows operating environment. Guided by user-friendly Formscan advanced metrology software, any operator can easily measure complex form parameters such as out-of-roundness, concentricity and circular runout, circular flatness and perpendicularity, plane runout, circular parallelism of top and bottom faces, and coaxiality. The touch-screen control device eliminates the need for a keyboard, and makes program selection quick and easy. Parts weighing up to 50 lbs (22.5 kg) and measuring up to 7" in diameter (178 mm) and 9" tall (229 mm) can be measured on the Formscan 6100 gauge. The 4" (100 mm) spindle is supplied with a 6" (152 mm) tiltcentering table for ease of set-up.
