Haomai Electric Power Automation Co offers Multifunctional CT and PT Tester, Model CTP-200. CTP-200 CT and PT tester is a new CT and PT test instrument developed after widely adopting customers' feedback and making deep theoretical study, a small and lightweight portable instrument. It provides quick automatic testing and calibration for almost all types of low leakage flux current transformers (CTs) and voltage transformers (PTs). According to corresponding standards, the instrument adopts the new frequency conversion measurement principle, breaks through the limitation of the traditional frequency method, uses the advanced power electronics technology and embedded LINUX operating system, introduces the complete digital control and ultra-high-precision measurement technology, discards the heavy core parts completely, and adopts the electronic circuit entirely. The instrument can accomplish the test of CT whose knee point voltage reaches as high as 30,000 V and the primary current 10,000 A and cover the set of different types of CT and PT (such as: protective class, metric class, TPY and TPX class CT, etc). Its test accuracy has been improved several numbers of classes (up to 0.05%), with comprehensive function, excellent performance, highly automatic testing, small size and light weight, the equipment possesses a leading professional testing instrument of current and voltage transformers. Main functions: tests on excitation, measurement of ratio and polarity; measurement of CT's ratio error; phase displacement at different primary current and various burden; measurement of CT secondary winding resistance; measurement of CT secondary burden; transient characteristics test and analysis of CT; automatically conclude the ratings of CT; measurement on CT's parameters – knee point voltage/current; 10% (5%) error curve, the accuracy limit factor, instrument security factor, second time constant, permanence factor, accuracy class, saturated and unsaturated inductance; and measure and verify various types of CTs and PTs including protective and metric class, TP class, cannula CT, various voltage class PT, etc.
