Motorised Potentiometers

Pavan Industries offers Motorised Potentiometers. It is housed in 92 x 92 mm cut-out panel, mounting cabinet or wall mounting unit, depth is only 160 mm. It is highly reliable. It is a perfect combination of electromechanical technology, utilising complete electrical and mechanical angle of rotation of one or more precision multi turns potentiometers of 1, 3 or 5 watts, coupled together with miniature DC motor driven by the electronic circuit with sensor to sense end positions of potentiometer and cut off the supply to motor. This saves the precision potentiometer and motor from damage. Two basic models are: (1) MAP-103, fixed cycle time of 20 seconds and (2) VSMP-10 with independently variable cycle time of 20 to 80 seconds for raise and lower operation, with auxiliary supply 12 V DC, 24 V DC or 230 V AC or as required. The potential free raise and lower switches are provided on the front panel of unit and external connections at the rear for remote operation facilitates the use from multiple places, one N/ C and N/ O, potential free relay contacts on each ends of the potentiometer activates upon extreme mechanical end of the pot. The other model is with 3 digit, digital display for indicating wiper position of the potentiometer.
