Modular Instrument For Layer Thickness Measurement

Automation Dr Nix GmbH has developed a series of modular layer thickness measurement instruments offering the user extreme versatility of use. Thus it is possible to use an instrument with inbuilt probe as a pocket instrument or with an adapter cable as a measuring instrument with outside probe. By simple change of probe,one can measure with the same instrument on steel as well as non-magnetic metals like aluminium and porcelain. The selected probe thereby can be used either integrated or externally with a cable. This change takes place with a short hand grip. The unit is supplied with memory and interface.
