Micrometer Anvil Checker

Prisms India offers a special Micrometer Anvil Checker designed and developed to replace the use of many sets of optical parallel to cover a wide range of micrometers. Parallel beam from an autocollimator is split by a high precision 90 degree prism and reflected from the anvil and the spindle. The separation between them corresponds to the parallelism error. The parallelism between the anvil and the spindle end could be measured at various positions 0-25 mm of the micrometer head unlike being checked at 12 mm position for a 25 mm size micrometer. Parallelism error less than 1 micron could be identified with this equipment. With additional micrometer arrangement for the eyepiece reticule, the resolution could be improved.
