Metal Detector

The Metal Detector, EMD 28, is strong and sensitive device, which works on normal 9V DC battery. This compact device is able to detect a one-rupee coin from a distance of 7 cm. Sensitivity and range increases for large objects. Sensitivity is adjustable and the instrument gives a unique beep tone to indicate the existence of ferrous and non-ferrous objects. The current consumption is less than 3 mA, which enables the detector to work continuously for more than a month depending on the usage. This light weighted instrument ranges approximately to 250 gm and the belt makes it easy to carry.
