Measuring Pin Sets

Cyclo Instruments offers Measuring Pin Sets. These are hardened, ground and lapped measuring pins made out of alloy steel. These are made in steps of 0.01, 0.02 and 0.05 mm; in the range of 0.5 to 20 mm, having many useful usages such as: measuring small holes; checking locations; checking centre distance between two holes; and checking slot widths, etc. The tolerance on the diameter is ±0.002 mm. Material of the pins up to 1.5 mm diameter is HSS and that of pins above diameter 1.5 mm is EN31. Pins are wrapped in an anticorrosive wrap paper and are housed in holes carved out in eye pleasing instrument grade wooden box for handling and preservation. The size of the pin is etched chemically on the diameter for pins above 3 mm nominal diameter. Smaller pins below 3 mm nominal diameter are packed in plastic capsules, which carry stickers stuck on it for identifying the pins inside.
