Laser-Based Measuring System

Damalini AB, Sweden, develops and manufactures laser based systems for measuring and aligning of machines and plants. Damalini Easy Laser technology is used for the measurement and alignment of rotary machinery shafts-couplings, belt transmission, straightness, flatness, squareness, parallelity, spindle alignment, level and plumbline. Easy Laser is the new laser-based measuring system which is userfriendly, downsized, portable and low priced. The system takes care of aligrunent of rotating machines, viz, pumps, motors, gearboxes, turbines, fans, Cardan shaft, propeller shafts, etc. Easy Laser measuring system consists of laser-transmitter/receiver with 10 mm/20 mm detector and battery powered display unit. The resolution is 0.01 mm. The screen shows offse@ angular error and adjustment of shim values at each foot-pair. The display unit screen guides the user through the measuring procedure step by step which simplifies the measurement and alignment. The display unit can store 25 label measurements and has an RS 232S port to printer and computer. The display unit has an in-built horizontal, vertical, straightness and flatness program.
